Microsoft “Terms of Use” Email

If you have a Microsoft account (either free or paid), you likely received an email last month about changes to their service agreement. Many of you have reached out to inquire about the meaning (or legitimacy), particularly since the email was a little vague and written in legalese. Essentially, Microsoft is tweaking their existing service agreement – which you have already agreed to by having an account – and is sending out a legally-required disclosure. I have reviewed the changes to the agreement and they are all minor clarifications. You can simply ignore the email from Microsoft and we’ll all be operating under the revised agreement automatically beginning June 15th.
