It seems like pretty much every company is trying to put artificial intelligence (AI) to use – but whether it's more of a marketing strategy or a feature that’s truly useful to consumers is always in question. The latest major company to thrust AI features upon us (without asking) is Adobe. Both paid and free versions of their popular PDF software Acrobat are now coming with an “AI Assistant” button in the top right corner. This is designed to allow users to get answers to questions concerning the open document, as well as a summary of the content. At the moment the feature is in beta and only available to a limited number of users, but if you are seeing this button and don’t want it reading your documents you can disable it using the instructions in this link.
