Many of you have recently received an email from Apple regarding the end of a service called My Photo Stream. (If you didn’t get the email it doesn’t pertain to you.) This service came out years ago and was a way to share photos with your other devices and friends. While free, the catch was the images were only available for 30 days. It has long since been replaced by iCloud Photos, which preserves your photos indefinitely and automatically syncs to all your Apple devices. Most people can ignore this announcement from Apple because your photos will still remain on the device on which they were taken.
