Anytime there is some major event in the news, hackers will attempt to exploit your interest and take advantage of you. The war in Ukraine has been a big one so far this year, and just this month there have been scams pertaining to the death of Queen Elizabeth II. I wouldn’t even be surprised to see some scams this week covering the storms in Florida. These scams usually try to get you to click on a malware-loaded email attachment or link, or they simply may ask for monetary donations to support a non-existent charity. Be extra careful what you click on, and never donate money to an unknown organization without researching their background.
