Good new for those who eschew subscriptions! Microsoft has announced that Office 2021, which arrives October 5th, will be available with the “buy once” perpetual license. This means that you only have to shell out once and you get to keep Office on one computer for as long as you like. Pricing has yet to be revealed, but you can expect it to be similar to or slightly more than the current cost of Office 2019: $150 for Home & Student (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or $250 for Home & Business (those three plus Outlook). If you’re not sure what version of Office you currently have or if it’s even worth upgrading, reach out to me for a complementary consultation.
