New Office Icons

File this under “changes you never asked for”: Microsoft has updated the icons for programs within the Office suite. If you’re running a recent version of Office and it has updated in the last month you may have noticed that your icons for programs like Word and Excel have changed. Microsoft’s marketing team says this is to reflect their “new life…for the A.I. era.” Thankfully the icon updates don’t appear to have come with any changes to the program interfaces, though. How you use Word and Excel hasn't changed…yet.
