The most dangerous AI known to mankind has been developed. It is here. But, and this is a massive "but," it is also likely the greatest AI ever created. Anthropic, the company behind Claude, joined forces with leading cybersecurity firms to develop "Claude Mythos," an AI codenamed Project Glasswing. What makes this AI so intriguing is that it is strictly banned from public use. Its primary purpose is to revolutionize cybersecurity, and when researchers tasked it with finding "zero-day" exploits (vulnerabilities discovered for the very first time), boy did it deliver. It is now public knowledge that Mythos successfully identified vulnerabilities across every major operating system, even uncovering a 27-year-old flaw in the security-focused OpenBSD. In the right hands, this is a miraculous tool for securing our technology; in the wrong hands, it could wreak global havoc. Currently, only 50 organizations, mostly "mega-tech" corporations, have access to Mythos. They are now partnering with major banks to ensure their systems are as bulletproof as possible, marking arguably the most significant development in cybersecurity in years.
