There is an important date in the IT world two years from this month that you should be aware of: the “end of support” for Windows 10. Microsoft will release its final security update for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. This means that if you choose to continue to operate your computer beyond that date it will no longer receive patches and updates and should be considered vulnerable. Your options to stay protected are to upgrade to Windows 11 (if possible) or replace the computer entirely with a new one that comes preinstalled with Windows 11. To check and see if your computer is compatible with Windows 11, try the official PC Health Check app. Two years can seem like a long way off, but if you are running a business with multiple computers it will be easier on the budget to stagger the replacements/upgrades and start now. Reach out to us if you have any questions on Windows versions and compatibility.
