Web browser shortcuts are a great way to quickly access websites you frequently visit, but you can save yourself a few clicks by actually putting a website shortcut on your Windows taskbar. Then it’s literally one click! To do this, first visit the website. If you are using Microsoft Edge, click the three-dot menu button in the upper right, then More Tools, then Pin to Taskbar. If you are using Google Chrome, there are a few extra steps: click the three-dot menu button, More Tools, Create Shortcut, Create. This puts the shortcut on your desktop. Right-click on that new shortcut and select Pin to Taskbar (or in Windows 11, More Options then Pin to Taskbar). If this doesn’t work for you or you’d like some help cleaning up your bookmarks, reach out for a support session that can be done remotely and quickly.
